• Most of our image files haven’t had <title> and <alt> attributes optimised for SEO.
I can update them quickly and easily in the Media library, but is there a way to get these changes retrospectively reflected within published pages and posts?

  • I searched the plugin directory for “alt tags” and found
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-image-alt-text-with-yoast/
    There are likely others.

I saw that, but as far as I can tell it doesn’t update the attributes in pages and posts when those in the media library are updated.
It will update the attributes in pages and posts witha copy of page titles etc, but it doesn@t give you direct control over the <alt> attribute of each image.
    Or am I misunderstanding something?
