Updating a Live Site

Hello,

Can I use this plugin for updating my live site?

Let’s say I’m working on an update on my local computer while my site is live, then someone posts some content to the live site.
What happens with the content that was posted once I update the live site with my update?

Does Duplicator take this into account? Or will content that is posted between the time that I download the live site and update it be lost?
