    Hi there,

we’re using the plugin on 4 WordPress-Installations, two of them running as MU.

The automatic updates are not working on both the WPMU-Instances, even when we try to force the updates. There are no log entries written to the “Logfiles” in the plugin.

Updates are not disabled and are running fine when we update core, plugins and themes manually. wp-cron.php is also not disabled.

Any ideas on this one? What do you need to troubleshoot that? 🙂

    Regards from Germany,

No idea how this slipped by me, sorry for the late reply. Have you checked out this thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/automatic-updates-arent-working/? It has some links to some helpful troubleshooting documentation.

Also, who is hosting your websites?

Yep, I tried the suggestions in the link you’ve posted – no luck.

One website is hosted on a root-server with nginx and I’m root on that one. The other one is hosted by All-Inkl, a german webhosting company.

So you have checked your wp-config.php file to make sure that there is nothing disabling automatic updates?

Yes, there is no such entry I’m aware of.

What plugins are on those websites? Perhaps one of them is interfering with Easy Updates Manager.

I tried disabling all the Plugins except Easy Updates Manager and forced automatic updates – no updates were made.

I’m really running out of ideas now.

I am running out of ideas as well. My only thought is that some host providers tend to play around with some WordPress features. Some even go as far as to block or force automatic updates for WordPress installs. Perhaps your host provider does this.
