Updates breaking site styles

    It seems the last few releases have been breaking site styles on update. I have to purge all cache files in order to restore. If I check source, the cached css fvm file after initial update no longer exists and must be updated with full purge.

    Is this a bug or is there a way to avoid this?

    Hi,

    FVM now purges the cache after an update of any plugin or theme, however, if the server also has an unsupported cache system, it makes sense that the html will reference the fvm files that have been deleted, and thus requires a cache purge.

    You can select the option to preserve cache files and it should solve your problems.
    I’m working on an update that will help in this kind of situation in the future.
