Updated to WordPress 4.0 – Disaster Area!

Hi, Today I have updated my website to WordPress 4.0. I was having issues with my webiste and my hosting provider where I have my VPS Server. They are suggesting that the upgrade to 4.0 is causing my issues now. Those issues include

Plugins have been removed/deactivated including:

Woo commerce
Akismet
Woo-Commerce Table Rate Shipping

Also most of the images in my Media Library are just showing as grey ghost boxes. Images seem to be broken.

Cannot view an image of the themes also.

Are these issues happening to anybody else out there and does anybody have any information on how to resolve these issues.

Please help if you can.
