updated now lost all posts

    I updated wordpress and didn’t do backup as new and didn’t realise I needed to.
    lost all posts on website although they are on my dashboards
    I have
    1. deactivated and activated all plugins
    2. changed permalink settings no change so gone back
    3. tried posting new post shows on front page but nowhere else

    do you mean that you see old posts only in wp-admin ? you can check their status, if they are published or not.

    about the second, where else should they appear?
