updated and it went crazy

    Can anyone please help I’m having a nightmare. I just updated to the new arclite version and it completly changed. I’ve lost the sidebar and the pages are nolonger at the top. widgets are on footer for some reason too
    anyone know how I can just get it back?

    Did you make a backup copy of the old arclite theme before upgrading?

    I just had something similar happen today – I used wordpress 2.8.4 to find the theme for one of my sites, I then did the in-app install, and the page I got was way off from what I see on another site I have with the same theme.

    I went to the author’s home page and noticed he had a newer version of the theme (1.6), I downloaded that, unzipped it.
    Then in wordpress I changed the theme back to the default.
    next I FTP’d into my site and deleted the old arclite folder in the themes folder.
    I then uploaded the new (v1.6) version of the theme, re-enabled it from wordpress and its been working great!
