Thank you for your continued interest in my plugin 🙂
The SEO Framework still works on WP 7.0 and 7.1, but there are some visual glitches with the new color style and restyled input fields. That’s why I didn’t mark it compatible with 7.1.
I also gave up on the fanfare and “marketing” on WordPress.org; it’s futile when the plugin keeps getting pushed down in search results anyway. People who know TSF know that TSF “just works.”
Stable software also doesn’t need an update every 2 weeks: TSF has no dependencies (all code is bespoke) and no (known) vulnerabilities.
With that, the plugin is being actively developed on GitHub. You can inspect the progress of the next update here.
Fediverse support, new Breadcrumb options, CSS sitemap styles (XSL sitemaps styles get deprecated by Chrome soon), a bunch of little edge-case fixes, and full Author SEO options are coming soon. ETA: 13 October (2 weeks from today).
In the past 10 months, for TSF, I reimagined our Knowledge Base, (re)wrote a bunch of articles there (marketing that does work…) with live examples. I added new buttons, sidebars, footer, and pricing options.
I also expanded our Troy update system with Composer distribution (and updated the entire site for that), wrote tons of tooling for AI development, defied AI for SEO, and kickstarted an entire new (secret) project for WordPress (yes, forbidden for now).
I also watched a bunch of James Bond movies, am learning to play the drone flute, erhu, and piano. I also helped resolve a bunch of (potential) security issues in cPanel, Rank Math, Slim SEO, and Gravity Forms.
I’m probably missing a ton here, but TSF didn’t take a back seat — it’s definitely not faking its progression.
