Update to post tags do not update

Greetings,

I own & run a site at http://www.wi-ski.com/ on WP 2.9.1.

I have a post that is scheduled to publish in about a week or so and I need to modify a tag. I have one tag with a hash in front of it (i.e. #Food instead of Food) and my twitter plugin adds those to the tags. I wrote the post before I had a good idea of how the plugin behaved.

Problem is I pull up the post for editing, delete the #Food tag and have added both “food” and “Food” and add that tag in, all then looks good. I hit the modify button and when it all comes back lo & behold there is the #Food tag again.

I have an events plugin that similarly refuses to update existing events and I usually end up having to use the CPanel SQL interface or via mysql command client.

Any ideas?
