Update Succeeding but Not “Recorded”

    I received notification I should update my installation from 4.5.2 to 4.5.3.

    The update appears to succeed (i.e., WP reports the update was successful). But the alert that I should update from 4.5.2 to 4.5.3 still appears, even after refreshing the page.

    It looks like the update isn’t being “recorded” by WP.
