    Another question, if I change the scripts, do you have an option to skip future updates? Do you know how I can stop WordPress updating any specific plugin?

    Yes, you can do so! You should follow the instructions listed here to skip all future public updates we’ll release. Actually there’s two options and this is the simplest way to ignore upcoming updates. Using any FTP client or File Manager

    /wp-content/plugins/portfolio-wp/

    directory, open

    portfolio-wp.php

    script update the plugin version. Set it a very big number, e.g. * Version: 99999.0.0. So the future updates we’ll release will be ignored by WordPress.
