Update not installing

    I’m trying to install the latest update to Wordfence and I keep getting this error message, “An error occurred while updating Wordfence Security: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”

    Why am I unable to install the latest update?

    Hi Pat,

    It looks like the zip file is not uncompressing. Do you have storage space left on your server? Not enough storage to unzip could be the problem.

    It worked today. That may or may not have been the issue. According to my web host (I called them today about what I didn’t realize may have been a related issue) one of the sites on the shared server with my site was getting hit with a DDoS. So this morning/afternoon they migrated me to another server. I tried the update after that. That’s when it worked. So I am not sure if it was the space issue and now the site has more on the new server or that I when tried it yesterday the service on my site was intermittent.
