    Hi,

    Seeing some errors when installing the latest update:

    Downloading update from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ewww-image-optimizer.8.7.1.zip…
    Unpacking the update…

    An error occurred while updating EWWW Image Optimizer: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Not sure if the issue is related to your package or something in my WP?

    I just verified and tested the plugin downloaded from the WordPress repository and it installed properly. That error could relate to a couple of different things. I would first try deleting it and then re-downloading it and seeing if that fixes it. Also, sometimes you can get that error if your site storage is full. You could try uploading a large image or something and seeing if that gives you a space warning or message, too.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    It works again after checking your hint with the storage, which was 100% full, and I had to delete a bunch of stuff.

    All good now.
