Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out & I’ll gladly help you out, although I’m quite surprised to hear that your Zemanta widget (v2.9) was working in the HTML mode of your editor.
I’ve just ran another test on my blog with the older version (v2.9) to see if this is true, but was — not surprisingly — welcomed with the “Zemanta is inactive!” message, as usual.
We’re pretty sure that this widget was never active in the HTML mode of any WordPress’s editor, but we’re curious if by any chance things did work differently for you in the previous version.
Would you please be so kind and revert your current plugin to the previous version, to check if this is true? We’d love to hear to results!
Also — are you using the default WordPress’s editor (TinyMCE)?
