Update Error.

    I’m trying to update WordPress to 4.0 but when I press re-install it just throws me an error and when I try the manual download there is an error as well – Page not found… What should I do and is it only me or someone else has this problem? Thanks.

    There should be an upgrade button. You only need to re-install if you had a failed installation, not to upgrade.

    Ok the next day it randomly started to work perfectly… But I have another problem why I even wanted to install it in the first place… My category pages shows me “404 page”. Before I used different theme in which the category pages worked but now it doesn’t how could I fix that?

    Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.
