• I just updated the plugins and got this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ninja_forms_register_field() in /homepages/0/d474823046/htdocs/app481331989/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms-layout/ninja-form-layout.php on line 78

It has completely crashed my site. I am not a programmer, and I really need some help with this. This is a brand new site on the Genesis framework using the newest versions.

  • Yep, same here. I just tried updating to v2.9.2 and after the attempted update I’m getting this error message: “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”

To clear this problem you need to delete the file .maintenance from the root directory of your WordPress install. If you’re on a Mac you’ll need something like Funter to see that hidden file. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to fix the fatal error you’re getting.

I just filed a support ticket with NF. I suggest you do the same: https://ninjaforms.com/contact/

The first one is you have an outdated version of Layout & Styles and if you update that you should be good to go.

The second one, I have no idea. In over 10,000 updates no one has reported anything like that yet. If you submit a tickets here we can assist you: https://ninjaforms.com/contact/

I tried everything but I couldn’t get the update to work. Ended up deleting the old version and reinstalling a fresh copy of v.2.9.4, which worked fine.
