• I’ve a client website
It runs smooth on 5.7.4 on a custom build theme.
Runs well for more then a year with all plugins updated.

When trying to updates to 5.8.2 is causes a problem.
Pages will be automaticly deleted by the last user logged in.
Already tried to run it with all plugins disabled, but no succes.

The site has 180 pages/urls. In a couple of minutes it deletes about 15 pages and counting.

The solution for now is running a backup on 5.7.4. Which is stable and with all pages recovered.

Someone with the same experience? Or might know the possible cause of the problem.

    That seems incredibly odd.

Since you have the backup, I’d try updating while all plugins are deactivated.

If that works out, re-activate each plugin one-by-one until you find the one causing the problem.

Right after the update it starts to delete the pages.

Are the pages still under Pages in the Dashboard but 404 Not Found on the web, moved to the Trash, or completely gone from the Dashboard?

    The pages are completely removed/gone.
Automatic change from published pages to concept to thrash and gone.

You can actually see them logged or in-action moving from Published to Draft to Trash to Empty Trash?

Or, are you just assuming they go through that process as they simply no longer exist?
