Update 4.7.5 won’t load

    I have 3 WordPress websites, 2 of which I updated painlessly through the Dashboard. The 3rd site gets only as far as downloading the .zip, then just sits there. I can log out and log back in and nothing has happened, and the site is not affected. The website is only a one pager and I have never had trouble updating before. Site is running Avada and the Bookly plugin. Can somebody help please?

    Hi @bluesvz

    I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. Out of curiosity are you able to upload the files via FTP? If you don’t know your FTP credentials you could try reaching out to your hosting company about that.

    Thanks for replying. Yes, I do have FTP access but not sure how to go about doing it this way.

    Awesome.

    What you can do is replace all the old WordPress files with the new ones in the wp-includes and wp-admin directories and sub-directories, and in the root directory (such as index.php, wp-login.php and so on).
