    Description of the Problem

After activating the plugin, an unreasonable amount of concurrent database queries were created, leading to the database rate limiting the website and the website not being able to display the front end. See also the attached screenshot for the CPU usage of the website, including the database before and after activation (concurrent with the spike).

    Additional Information

    -DBMS used: MariaDB
-Time between activation of the plugin and first fault due to the rate limit: ~4hrs
-Most of the concurrent queries were identical to each other
-All information given above is relayed from our hosting provider, I do not have direct access to the database and similar to research further

Hi @thomas1112 Hope you are doing well.

We’re sorry to hear about the issue. We have a few questions to help us identify what’s causing the problem.

Does the issue occur immediately after you activate the plugin, or does it happen only after you save the plugin settings?

We’ll need to investigate further to determine the exact cause. It would be better if you could email us at support@storeplugin.net so we can communicate more quickly and assist you with troubleshooting.

    Thanks.
