“Unread message”-icon never disappear

At the top menu, beside the yoast little logo, a red round ball with a white letter “1” inside message icon is visible. When I click there and try to delete the notification, the notification comes back. The red ball at the top never disappear.

I used the windows snipping tool to show this for you, but seems I’m unable to upload it here.

Also, it’s always there, no matter how many new versions I upgrade to!
