Unknown mwp-download folder in wp-content

Hi everyone,

I have been charged to udpate a a GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting website (shared hosting). While I was going through my wp-contents folder I noticed a folder named ‘mwp-download’ (wp-contents/mwp-download), including three zipped files and a PHP file called “Index”. I’m asking because the folder takes up space, approximately 110 MO and I would like to clean up the folders in order to speed up the website.

Anyone knows where this folder might come from? So far, I have deleted it it seems that nothing changed on the site.
