• We created a course and added a unit, and as we were making the unit, we added pictures. Everything worked fine until we tried to resize the image (by dragging the corners), pressed update, and then it had a “loading content” message that never went away. In Google Chrome, it prompted us to kill the page. We were never able to open that unit again. Today, the loading message went away, but we got a little pointer hand that couldn’t push anything. We could not delete the unit and instead, deleted the whole course.

We’re considering Pro, and think this will be a great solution for us, but we don’t know what caused that freeze, and are now a little nervous about committing time to CoursePress if its going to have unknown freezes and crashes.

    thanks,
    Abi

  • Hey Abi,

    Hope you’re well today 🙂

I’ve tried to recreate the issue on my end but everything worked fine. I’m assuming you’re adding an image by using “Add Media” button in text element, see video http://screencast.com/t/rCAB8RnR, tested in Chrome.

This looks like a javascript error and it is most likely caused by another plugin or a theme. Can you check the JavaScript console for errors?

In Chrome go to “View -> Developer -> JavaScript Console”. If there are any errors there you can try testing for conflicts by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen or CoursePress theme and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

Please let me know if you find anything.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
