• I uninstalled WP and tried to reinstall WP into the same domain through the hostgator quick install feature but apparently not all of the content was erased and will not reinstall. How do I reinstall?

    I got this message:

Use your ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to remove the old WordPress directories before reinstalling.

If you can’t remove those directories yourself (due to possible ownership issues created by the installer) contact HostGator support and they can remove them for you.

You can always just erase the folder in General as well.
