    1. Deactivate (and/or remove) WP Mail SMTP plugin.
    2. Remove in your site database in wp_options table (or might be another prefix, not default wp_) options with meta_key like these:

pepipost_user
smtp_pass
smtp_user
smtp_auth
smtp_ssl
smtp_port
smtp_host
mail_set_return_path
mailer
mail_from_name
mail_from
wp_mail_smtp_am_notifications_hidden

    Some options from the list above may not exist, it’s normal.

    And you are done.
