Unexpected figure in “Owed” column

    My Tickets appears to be working great but I’ve just run the purchased report for the first time and the values in “Owed” here worry me a little. The tickets being sold here are £4.50 so the total sales figure is correct. However, look at Oliver Teale. It says he’s paid £9 (correct for 2 x £4.50) but why does it say he owes £-4.50?

    The owed column appears to always be -(NumTicketsBought-1)*Price

    I don’t have immediate access to the PayPal account that the money is going into to check what money we’re actually receiving.

    That’s definitely a strange result – I haven’t seen something like that before.

    What “owed” represents in reports is a simple value which is the total price of tickets minus the amount paid, and those should line up.

    Without knowing what’s actually being paid, it’s hard to know exactly where the issue is – can you find that out? It would be valuable to know whether we’re looking at a different in the payment process or a bug somewhere in calculations after a payment has already been made.

    Hiya – haven’t forgotten about this. Just didn’t want to mess whilst the tickets sales were live. They’ve all sold now. I’ll supply some more data. Is this the best place to talk? Can’t really attach stuff here.

    Could build a complete VM and grant you access with a copy of the site if that would be useful?
