Is there any way to undo or reverse changes made to lists etc? I accidentally deleted lists that I need to restore as there is no way to export the general audience.

    Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay in my response.

In this situation, we can’t do much but the following options may help you

    1) You want to preserve both contacts and the lists to which they were assigned
In this case, your host may able to help you if they have a database backup option enabled on your site. They might be able to restore the site to a previous state using the old database.

    2) You want to preserve only the contacts data(i.e. their name, email)
In this case, you can create a new list and assign it to your contacts so that they can be exported. The below steps may be helpful in this regard.
    i) Create a new list.
ii) On the audience screen, select the contacts.
iii) Select ‘Add to list‘ option from Bulk actions dropdown.
iv) Select the newly created list from the dropdown next to Bulk actions dropdown and click on the Apply button. It will add the selected contacts to the created list.
    v) If you have contacts spanning over a number of pages, then you might need to repeat the steps from ii) to iv).
vi) After all contacts are assigned to the created list, you can then export the contacts from the audience export screen. You will need to select the created list though while exporting the contacts.

Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.
