Not sure what you mean by landing page, so I’ll assume you’re saying you’ve just purchased a web hosting deal. If that’s not the case please ignore all that follows.
The first thing to do is to install WP if you haven’t done so already. Many hosts offer a ‘one-click’ install or similar. If they do, that’s fine. Just make sure the installation is in the root of your web space.
If you have to install WP yourself, it’s simple enough:

Once that’s out of the way you can install a plugin like “Maintenance Mode”. It puts up a page saying the site’s being developed and blocks entry to the site for everyone except site admins. As the admin, you can develop and view the site by logging in.
When the site’s ready, just deactivate Maintenance Mode.

Sorry wrong wording…
I have just purchased a “Under Contruction Theme” and want to set that live whilst doing my site.
Is it possible to set that running instead of the standard maintenance mode.

Lee.
What’s an ‘Under Construction Theme’?
