Hello, I have a blog with a lot of pages. Under each post I have the following:

Warning: Undefined array key “viewed_cookie_policy” in /var/www/web27885579/html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ads/classes/ad_type_plain.php(167) : eval()’d code on line 2

My programming skills are very limited. And I don’t know what I did wrong.
I am happy if someone can help me.

  • Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please check if your ad code contains the viewed_cookie_policy function? I assume that this php function in your ad code is causing the error message.

You can also try disabling your ads one by one to find out which ad unit is causing the error message. Another way to check this quickly is to disable all ads in the frontend using the Advanced Ads > Settings > Disable ads options.

Please reach out to me about your findings.

    Best regards,
    Henning

Great! Thank you Henning. You have led me on the right path.

The first thing I did was uncheck the PHP box, and then the error message was gone. Then I removed the text from the bottom area for display parameters. Now this area is empty.

I don’t know if I did something wrong, but now the page is clean again. The Google Ads work too. It seems that everything is now fine at my page. Many thanks for your help.

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the feedback and great to read your ads are working now.

If you have further questions regarding Advanced Ads, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me again.

    Best regards,
    Henning
