Unconfirming imported subscribers

I just would like to complain about this default setting. I had no idea that importing a list would mean an automatic email asking for confirmations. Only since I am subscribed to my list I got it.

I’m quite upset at this. It should be an option or it should be properly displayed. Not everyone is sending spam emails or get their emails in the same way. My list is small. I just sent another email. I am not trying to annoy them or subscribe people who have already confirmed. They can unsubscribe themselves if necessary. It is also not edited how I would have done it and comes from ‘the team’ when I always send from myself with a proper template.

Feels like a bait and switch. Do better please.
