Hey Betty,
Thanks for posting!
I noticed the post is marked as resolved. Also took a peek at the URL you shared and I can now see a full height background image. I gather you figured it out? 🙂
Anyhow, I believe the issue there was that you assigned the image as a background to a row with no content. Backgrounds consume the same area as its content so if there’s no content, there’s no background.
Setting the row to full height forces it to have the same height as the viewport regardless of the content, and that’s the reason it shows there.
Hope this helps!
Ben
Hi Ben! Thanks for your help!
Somehow I do not know how I did it. It’s just next day in the morning and the image shows up.
But if you take a close look at the home page, there is still a little bit space between image and the menu and the footer. I do not know why. And as I add a header in it. The space is still there. Also, I do not know why. No matter how I change the margin and padding space for my header or text that I have for another page (have not posted yet), nothing has changed.
Hi Ben,
This is odd. I guess there is some buffer time that need to refresh all the things I have changed? Now if you look at my website, the home page, there is no margin or padding any more. Is there any ways that I could immediatly see the change, that I do not need to wait for a couple of hours to know that I make the right change?
I am sorry that I have bothered you so many times.
Hey Betty,
When I checked the page yesterday, the row had a 10px margin on all sides which was causing the space. Took a peek at the site now and it’s no longer there. Perhaps the reason for the delay is caching? Do you have any caching active, either via a plugin or service from your hosting? If so, try turning it off and check for the issue. 🙂
Ben
Hi Ben,
I am so sorry for the delay update. As you suggested, I checked my cache and installed a cache plurgin. All of my changes update quickly.
Thanks!
Betty
Awesome! And thanks for taking the time to inform us, Betty. 🙂
Have fun with BB!
