Unable to use s gallery

I am creating a website using WordPress and I wanted to use your plugin to display a gallery in my page.
I am trying to do that but I am unable to.
I create gallery and when I try to view it my Home page is displayed and nothing else.
I would be very grateful to you if you could please instruct me or provide a tutorial on how to do that or if there is a problem rectify it.
