I am trying to setup a website so it reliably tracks form enquiries using contact for 7 plugin.

Previously we did this by using on_sent_ok: to call a function that loaded a conversion page in an iframe.

We have just launched a new website and the conversion tracking has stopped working. It looks like on_sent_ok: has been deprecated so I am trying to find a way to reliably record form submissions using contact form 7.

How can I do this? I have followed several tutorials but none of them work or their info doesn’t cover the latest version of contact form 7 or google analytics.

Our GA code is placed directly into the head section of the site via the theme options. The GA close used is the latest version that uses gtag.

    Can anyone offer any help?

I’ve been through that already. Sorry but I just cannot get it working.

The version of analytics code I am using is the latest version that uses gtag not ga. Does that make a difference?

I add the javascript code to the head section of the site but do I need to call it from the settings of the contact form?

I have now resolved this by adding a function to the functions.php file and calling some javascript from that so I’ve not need for the plugin now.
