Hi there @kwallindesigns
Can you let me know if you’re able to install the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin and connect that from Plugins > Add New:

Alternatively you can download it directly from here:
https://woocommerce.com/products/tax/
You can then install and activate the plugin and proceed with configuring automatic taxes.
I’m not sure at the moment why the onboarding wizard isn’t allowing you to proceed with this, but hopefully one of the above 2 options will help you get your tax settings configured first.

In terms of troubleshooting the onboarding wizard, could you let me know if you see any console errors when you press ‘Yes please’ please.
If you’re not familiar with how to find console errors, this guide explains this for several browsers:
https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/
In your reply, could you also share a screenshot of the page you are on when nothing happens?
I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply.
Thanks and we will be standing by for your response.
Hi,
Thank you for responding!
Yes, I have had the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin installed since the beginning. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn’t seem to make a difference.
I do get some console errors when I load that page or click the button, though I’m not sure what they mean or how to fix them. Here is a screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OR4W6kBm35l1OqoBLga7B2Q2oXmNP0fc/view?usp=sharing
And here is a screenshot of the page where I click and nothing happens: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oKPdwZahs3Idf2kHCrayQU9q-N99sqv1/view?usp=sharing
Thanks for your help! Let me know what I can do!

Thanks @kwallindesigns
I can see from the console errors that there is a specific one related to Automated taxes but it doesn’t clarify where this is coming from.
I’d like to take a closer look into this.
Could you please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
In your support ticket, please also share your current System Status Report.
You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.
We will be able to help you further there.
I will mark this forum topic as Resolved so we can keep the conversation in one place and continue to help troubleshoot this through your support ticket.
Thanks!
I was not sure if it was safe to post my WooCommerce systems report here on this forum, but I have included it in the Support Ticket Request on WooCommerce.com.
Let me know if I need to do anything else here!
Thank you for your help, and look forward to working out the problem in the Support Ticket.
