Unable to post images

    I have just started a website with the billions theme, and seem to be unable to post any kind of pictures into posts, or as the featured image.

    When I try to post a picture into a post, the image will not appear but a small grey image of a broken picture will. When I publish the post, there is a link with the title of the picture as the text, clicking on that link gives you:
    400 Bad Request
    Invalid request.

    I tried PNG and JPEG format pictures, neither seem to work.
    The images won’t show up anywhere…From the admin panel —> Media All that shows is a link for the images, instead of a thumbnail.

    I have another site using the Mantra theme, and I am having the same problem, so I don’t think it is theme related….I was able to upload images to both sites the other day (I have the banner up on one page, and I can still see it) but am unable to upload any new images. The second site hasn’t been touched, but I tried deactivating any new plugins and that didn’t seem to help.

    I have an update…I am able to upload pictures just fine from my girlfriends mac, which now that I think about it is where I uploaded the images from the other day.

    Something has happened in the last couple of days that makes it so my computer (windows 7, HP) is not able to upload images. Maybe it isn’t wordpress related….but any ideas?

    Well, I have figured it out and thought I would post for anyone in the future who has this problem.

    I was trying to upload the media directly from my google drive, which does not work.

    I moved the files to my desktop and they uploaded just fine.

    Strange, but glad it is fixed…
