Unable to Login

Hello!

When I try to login with my WordPress install at:

http://www.bottle-imp.com/wp-login.php

It simply does not login in. This started tonight (I made a blog update earlier today), and as far as I know, I have not made any major changes with the application. I tried logging in as admin and with my test ID. Neither worked. I also tried creating a new account, and it didn’t seem to work.

I have tried using IE and Firefox, and another computer. All generate the same result, so I do not think it is a local problem.

When I try to login, the page flashes quickly, and just goes back to the login screen. Nothing else. Any idea what could be causing this?

same here! I’m 100% sure I use the same login name and password.

there isn’t really much i can help you with because all i see is the login screen but without any of your details, it is impossible to diagnose what is wrong

Unfortunately I have to join this thread. I upgraded to 2.3.3 and now I can not log in to admin.

It acts like it is going to log in, but just returns the log-in page. This is happening on both blogs that I upgraded.

When I click on the LOGIN tab, I just get a blank page,and can’t log in to work on blog 🙁

Dreamhost users such as me seem to be affected by this problem.

I use Dreamhost.
Submitted a ticket to them about it yesterday evening.

I use Dreamhost too and I have the same issue as LindaLee99.

I use Dreamhost as well. Odd, I have another WordPress install with Dreamhost on another domain and it works fine. I’ll submit a ticket as well. I suspected it may be a problem with Dreamhost, but decided against when the other WordPress install was working.

Oh, and my login page is http://www.bottle-imp.com/wp-login.php

I have a test login user/pass Test23/test23 if anyone wants to test it.

My log-in is acting the same as your test log-in.

sure, it’s DreamHost fault and caused by their certain server either database server failures.

My website’s DreamHost servers are “willie” and “lassie” ( database ) and I got the same issue.

Just wanted to echo the failed login with Dreamhost problem… Do problems/issues with that web host ever end?
