• Hi,

First I would like to say I’m no expert on these matters. I build my first website (www.trbeveiliging.nl) with a free wordpress theme. I did this online without problems.

Now I’m building a webshop for our business. I’m doing this on localhost using XAMPP. I just used a free theme to begin with but then we decided to buy StoreX which looks very nice. But now I have some problems installing the theme on my localhost.

Here’s what I tried and the errors I got:

    FIRST TRY:
    1. I copiedd the storex folder of the “storex.zip” file from the “themeforest-12946599-storex-wordpress-woocommerce-electronics-theme.zip” file and put it in my “C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes” location.

    2. When I then go to my wordpress dashboard “http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php” and try to activate the theme I get the following error: “Fatal error: ‘continue’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\storex\widgets\class-pt-widget-collapsing-categories.php on line 213”

    3. From this moment on I can’t do anything anymore, not even reach my dashboard. I have to remove the storex folder from my wp-content\themes folder. Then wordpress puts my theme automaticly back to the default one.

    SECOND TRY:
    1. When I try to upload the storex.zip file in wordpress at “http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/theme-install.php?upload”

    It actually says:
“Installing Theme from uploaded file: storex.zip
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the theme…
    Theme installed successfully.
Live PreviewLive Preview “StoreX” | ActivateActivate “StoreX” | Return to Themes page”

    2. When I click “activate” I get the same error: Fatal error: ‘continue’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context in “C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\storex\widgets\class-pt-widget-collapsing-categories.php on line 213”. And again I can’t do anything.
