Unable to install postie plugin

    I’m unable to install the postie plugin, it says Install Failed. an error like <!– –>
    I never installed it before and i’m using wordpress Version 5.2.2

    Not much more additional troubleshooting information to give you as this moment.

    Is this something known?
    I’m not sure where to continue investigating.

    I have never heard of an installation failure. Did you try deleting it and installing again?

    Well I would like try that but its not installed it seems. Are there cached files which I could remove to completely retry?

    Not that I’m aware of. Are you using a WordPress specific host? If could be that your hosting company is doing something that is inadvertently causing the issue.

    We have our own dedicated server. But it seems it was my proxy which interfered. Ive now tried it from a home connection and it installed successfully. Maybe the files are downloaded from a custom port or blocked page. Thx for your time and sorry for the inconvenience.
