Nothing is wrong on your side… this appears to be a bug… not only Japanese but for a few other lanaguges.

The fix is written and tested, and it is due in our next release, 1.8.12.3. After that update you will be able to type Japanese into both fields normally, including Japanese punctuation such as 。、and ！.

In the meantime, there is one thing that will work for you today. If you leave “Title Override” empty, the hero uses your campaign’s own title instead, and that field accepts Japanese without any problem. Your campaign is already titled “FreFreTV 寄付受付ページ”, so clearing the override should give you a Japanese heading right away.

For the donation button, I do not have as clean a workaround. Leaving “Donate Button Text” empty falls back to the standard “Donate Now” wording, which does follow your site’s Japanese translation files, so a translation plugin such as Loco Translate SHOULD set the Japanese wording if you want it before the release. If you would rather just wait for the update, that is completely reasonable. We hope to have it out in a few days. I can update here when it’s out if you want.
