Following the instructions, the screens were not exactly as described, but I found my way to the Services screen of the API Explorer. I don’t know if that’s the same services screen described in the instructions.

There’s a button there, but a tool tip says no authorization is required. http://pasteboard.co/1ktuSZy7.png

If I move the switch to On, a pop-up appears, but the authorize button has no

It’s okay. I found another guide, and now have a key.

Thanks flipside, can you post the guide for others to see as well?

Google keeps changing this process, it makes it hard for me to keep my documentation up to date.
