Ran through the steps of troubleshooting “Can’t Edit With Elementor”. None helped.
I attempted a restore from Updraft Backup. Found this error message in the log:
0149.167 () Elementor’s clear cache method exists and will be executed
0149.183 () Error (Error) occurred when cleaning up third-party cache (clear_elementor_cache) during post-restore: Class ‘Elementor\Core\Page_Assets\Data_Managers\Base’ not found (Code: 0, line 174 in /homepages/15/d348692968/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/files/manager.php)

Hi,
Did you update your Elementor core?
If the version is older it can cause issues with loading.

Hi @talmo – I had tested wth Elementor core updated to the latest version. I’ve discovered I am having issues using Elementor in Safari. The “Edit with Elementor” link is back, but I get the endlessly loading gray Elementor screen. I’ve been through all the suggested troubleshooting steps on the Elementor website. Safe mode…checking WP, PHP, MySQL versions etc. However, Elementor editor does work in Chrome browser. I need to figure out why it will not work in Safari (v 15.0)

Since Elementor is working in Chrome and I am able to edit, I will say my issue is resolved. I’ll continue to try and figure out why it is not working in Safari and will repost a topic on that issue.
