Unable to build index

    Hello,

    I hope someone can give me a hint: On the settings page I’ve clicked the button “Save indexing options, erase index and rebuild the index”, now zero pages are indexed. I try to rebuild the index, but nothing happens. I try to index 10 documents at once but after the settings page is displayed again, still zero pages are indexed.

    Are there known problems?

    Which post types have you checked in Relevanssi settings under “Choose post types to index”?

    Hi Mikko,

    I mainly didn’t change the default settings: All types (post, page, attachment) are indexed.

    Then it can be a database issue. That is usually solved by deactivating the plugin and then reactivating it. Does that help?

    Yes, it helped, thank you very much!
    Strange, by updating to the new version of Relevanssi, the database field also should be updated.

    It’s impressive you help all the people here.
    I can’t find any possibility to donate. Why don’t you put a donate button on the Relevanssi settings page like other plugin developers?

    Yes, updating should trigger the reactivation, but for some reason it doesn’t. That has been a long-time source of grief.

    I don’t have a donation button because I prefer to sell the Premium version. But I do accept donations, my PayPal email is mikko @ mikkosaari.fi.

    Finally, I bought the premium version, as compensation for the donation. But I do not plan to use the premium version for my blog, I’m satisfied with free version.
