unable to access migrated site

    I have migrated my site from production to my mac running Mavericks using backup buddy.

    The site migrated fine; however when I try and run it i get a 403; so I deleted the .htacces; this enabled me to access the fornt page. However I then cannot access any further pages. I should say that I have set permalinks.

    I have tried setting all permissions to 777- no luck any ideas would be much appreciated.
