    I have set up ultimate member to send emails after my client approves a user for account access. After I approve a test account, ultimate member is not sending any emails to the recipient’s email address. I am however receiving emails from WP letting me know a new user has registered and stuff. But the emails from ultimate member are not sent.

    I am using WP Mail SMTP with SendGrid and have verified that everything there is set up correctly.

    Install the “Check & Log Email” Plugin and verify if UM is sending your emails or if there is an UM configuration issue and the email addresses are correct.

    I’ve already added that and it does not reflect the emails UM should be sending. It does show the WP emails letting the admin know of a new user registration was sent. It also shows that the test email was sent successfully.

    Do you have the UM Settings -> Email -> Account Activation Email -> Activated?

    How do you approves a user for account access?

    No, I have other emails activated in there including:

    Your account is pending review
    Account Approved Email
    Account Deactivated Email
    Account Deleted Email
    Password Reset Email
    Password Changed Email
    Account Updated Email
    Account Needs Review Notification

    I have an “Approve New Users” plugin to allow me to approve these.

    Try to Approve the user from WP Users -> All Users and use the “UM Action” dropdown.

    That worked, but I had to remove the Approve New Users plugin for it to work. I noticed your suggestion worked with all the other drop-down selections made except for the “Approve Membership” one. The Approve New Users plugin was preventing the emails relating to account approval from being sent via UM. Thanks!

    I noticed that the “Approve New Users” Plugin on their WP Plugin Page they promise compatibility with UM but not in the documentation at their Homepage.
