Typo in email notification
-
Hi,
I use the “Update available” notification.First I would say, it’s a bit unfortunate, that you have no information in your e-mail notification. I really hoped to get a list of new available updates. But instead it’s just a generic message.
But ok, let’s make this then a feature request, if you not mind.
And you also manged to get multiple typos in this short message, you really should read your strings more carefully before publishing ^^
And there seem to be more problems here, let’s see…The message:
Hodwy! There are one or more plugin updates waiting on your WordPress site at https://domain.com but we& # 0 3 9 ;ve noticed that you& # 0 3 9 ;ve disabled auto-updating for
Outdated re a security risk so please consider manually updating them via your dashboard.
- I dislike this “Howdy” in general, but at least you could write it correctly 😉
- I got in my mail the html-entities for the apostrophe “& # 0 3 9 ;” for the we& # 0 3 9 ;ve and you& # 0 3 9 ;ve. I added spaces as I do not know if they get parsed here in this message (so no spaces in the real message). Is this only for me or also a bug?
- “… disabled auto-updating for “. The first sentence has an open end.
- “Outdated re a security risk so” not sure where this is going? Maybe “Outdated plugins are a security risk, so”?
Thanks and best regards.
