TypeError: can’t access property “analytics”

Hello WooCommerce Support,

I have issues on several WooCommerce sites since today.

TypeError: can’t access property “analytics”, window.wcAdminFeatures is undefined

That is the message and a couple of plugins are not loading, for example: MetaBox, WPCode Box.

This is the error message:

Hi @peterteszary,

Are you saying the issue is happening on https://elmenyseta.hu, or is it on a different (possibly private) site? We want to make sure we’re looking at the right one.

Can you confirm which site you saw the error you mentioned in the thread? Was it https://elmenyseta.hu or another?

For the affected site, please share your System Status Report from WooCommerce > Status > Get report > Copy for support. Also, check the Logs tab for any fatal error logs and share both using https://gist.github.com.

Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like what you’re experiencing is related to this known issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/57183. A fix has already been merged here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/57186/, and it’s currently waiting to be included in an upcoming patch release.

This bug started showing up with WooCommerce 9.8.1 and seems to affect compatibility with some specific plugins.

In the meantime, one option you can try is rolling back to the previous WooCommerce version that was working fine for you. To do that easily, we recommend using the WP Rollback plugin, which lets you safely downgrade a plugin version.

That should help confirm whether this issue is the one causing trouble on your end.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes

Thanks so much for getting back to us.

At the moment, there hasn’t been any official word on exactly which version the fix will be included in. Based on what we’re seeing, it’s likely to be rolled into one of the upcoming 9.8.x releases—right now, 9.8.1 is the latest.
