• Hey guys,

Great plugin so far πŸ™‚

I’ve found two issues so far though.

The first is that the plugin is providing the wrong URL. On this page, for example I get:
<link rel=”amphtml” href=”http://www.troyfawkes.com//?amp”/>

Note the two trailing slashes. This is true throughout my site and I’m not sure why.

The second issue is a whole series of issues. Google suggests checking AMP markup by adding #development=1 to the end of the URL and checking for validation errors. You can see that there are… a lot… of validation errors on this page for example. You can see some of those issues here.

I can provide additional information if you’d like.

Hi troyfawkes,

I’m glad that you liked this plugin.

First regarding the “two trailing slashes” I will check out why its adding extra slash, but this is not a big issue, browsers are very smart these days and will remove the extra slash while processing the page, but I will check this issue for sure.

Regarding the console giving you the errors http://prntscr.com/a46m6a I have gone through your page as well.

The comment form and the social sharing bar on the right are not allowed, because of the strict standards of AMP. Please make sure they are turned off and your amp page will show no errors. http://take.ms/dpehZ

Hope this helps.
