admin menu doesn’t load subsite specific item

Thanks for this awesome plugin. It’s really powerful and I am thinking of replacing two other plugins with this.

But I am facing a small issue using the admin menu setting. The admin menu editor doesn’t load a menu that’s subsite specific when using role-based configuration, is it expected? E.g. if a menu is just available for certain subsites, I am not able to see that menu option in Branda editor in either the network site or the subsite as long as I am choosing a Role-Based configuration. But I can see it in Branda editor in the subsite if I switch to custom user configuration.
