Two Issues – Mobile Nav and Nav Hover Colors
-
Hi,
I really dig the layout and customization possibilities of this theme, they are great. I have a couple of quirks though.
When viewing on mobile device and click the menu it works fine, except when I scroll down to see more options and my phone gets rid of the URL bar at the top (essentially resizes), the navigation disappears. It does this on iPhone and android both. Solution?
Second, the hover color is green. I found the classes that I need to change and did so, but as I refreshed the changes didn’t take place. The style-sheet “scheme-2.css” still overrides my child theme. How do I change that?
Thanks for an awesome theme!

Hi, can you post your site url?
Thanks.
for the nav hover colors try this
.site .horisontal-navigation li a:hover { background: #B61F2A !important; box-shadow: none; }I expanded on what you provided and got it to work! I just added the !important to the end of the background, box-shadow, and text-shadow and it lets me benefit from the gradients. Thanks so much, christomwebdesign!
Any ideas on the navigation disappearing on mobile devices when the URL bar disappears/makes the window re-size?
for the mobile nav, i did check on mobile but found no issues
nvm the last, i can see it now, once you scroll down the mobile menu closes…
Alright. It just doesn’t make sense. I tested it on someone else’s website using the same theme and it does it there as well on mobile. That website was http://www.inspiredautosport.com
You open up the navigation, then scroll down with your finger and as soon as the url bar leaves and you let go of the screen, the navigation closes.
Thanks for the help!
**Edit**
yes, that is correct. You scroll, it closes.
