Support » Plugin: Simple Real Estate Pack » Two Issues- Map display & Compatibility

  • Hi Max. You have a lovely plugin, when it’s working well 🙂 My boss, the broker I’m creating the website for, particularly requested the walkscore feature so it really is perfect for our use.

I am using the plugin on the Twenty Twelve theme, trying to get everything running properly before I go ahead implementing my custom theme. I’ve tested it on a blank page (here) and realized that without the “Maps” tab, which I hadn’t intended on keeping view-able, nothing else will work. That is with all other plugins disabled. It’s not a huge deal, as I may be able to disable the other map on the listing plugin I’m using, but I thought you and others might like to know. (Also, I am aware that one of my other plugins is affecting the CSS- not a big issue for me right now as I’m fairly certain I can handle that issue later on.)

Which brings me to my other issue- the listings plugin I’m using. I’ve installed FireStorm Real Estate, which is great, but for some reason when I use the shortcode creator buttons in the visual editor while inputting the listing, they insert nothing. If I input the shortcode manually, you can see here that it just prints the shortcode without rendering.

This may not be something you’d be able help me with, but I figured I’d give it a shot, especially since this may be a good option for others using your plugin 🙂

    Hi Lizzy,

sorry for getting back to you this late – not having much time to follow up on my free plugins.

The plugin is due for a big re-make, so I’ll take your points to consideration regarding the map.

It sounds there is some kind of conflict with the FireStorm plugin. Are you able to generate shortcodes on regular posts/pages?
