Two different URL for different language

Hi

My site will be multilingual. Two languages to start with and then others will be added.

Each language will be using a different URL

Foe example:

English will use domain_name_English.com (URL 1)
French will use domain_name_French.com (URL 2)

Can we setup Polylang so that it publishes the human made translation to URL 2 if the original text is on URL 1?

Could you speficy if you want multiple domains? If yes, Polylang handles multiple domains. You will need to buy each domain at your host provider.

I already have the two domains.

So yes I want multiple domains.

How do I configure the plugin to reflect them.

I tried the above and it does not work. 🙁

I have WordPress installed in

url1.com/Wordpress

I try to configure Polylang to use

URL1.com for English
url2.com for French

When I press save,the systems tells me :

“Polylang was unable to access the URL”

Denis, je suis curieux de savoir si vous avez réussi. J’ai eu l’idée de peut-être faire la même chose mais je ne sais toujours pas si ça fonctionnera comme je le pense car vous n’avez pas commenté à cet effet et même si j’ai lu la documentation, je suis dans l’incertitude car l’explication pour y arriver est loin d’être précise.

Je n’ose m’adresser à Frédéric car je sais qu’il ne supporte plus la version gratuite mais il est certain que le paragraphe avec le procédé pour y arriver devrait être grandement bonifié.

Je n’ai toujours pas acheté le second domaine et avant de décider si j’achète ou non je dois savoir exactement le fonctionnement.
